Doyle Eugene Hall

PARSONS, KANSAS: Doyle Eugene Hall, age 75, passed away at 110 am, Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Good Samaritan Society, Parsons, KS following an illness.

Doyle was born August 23, 1946 in Noel, MO. His parents were Ivan and Gertrude (Allen) Hall.

After graduating from high school in Baxter Springs, KS, he entered the U S Army an was stationed in Alaska as cook from 1966- 68. He made his home in Eureka Arkansas for over 40 years. Doyle returned to Southeast Kansas about 2 years ago to live with his nephew, Bill Price in Chetopa, KS.

He was a florist and had managed flower ships in Arkansas for several years. He was proud to say he had met Bill Clinton once while decorating a banquet room. He was an artist, and enjoyed painting and drawing. He liked gardening and making arrangements from the flowers he grew.

Surviving is one sister, Sharon Groseclose, Oklahoma City, OK; and 14 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Sonny Hall and Alan Hall, and one sister, Liliian Price.

Doyle was entrusted to Derfelt Funeral Home, Galena, KS for cremation. The family will plan a celebration of life at a later date.
