Local boutiques make changes to survive rising business costs

CARTHAGE, Mo. – Local 4-State boutiques say they are experiencing the effects of high prices and inflation.

While business costs rise, local business owner Tierra Haws says she is doing what she can to keep her prices low and affordable.

To help counter rising prices, Haws says she moved her brick-and-mortar store and now does business primarily online.

“It takes longer for the customers to get their product and it was costing me a lot to ship them. Said Haws. “So, in order to keep my costs down and more affordable for the customer, it was best to just move everything home and go online for a while”
