JOPLIN, Mo. — Joplin city tax revenue falls in June, the second month in a row.

Sales tax dropped about nine percent.

However, trends have revered a few times since the start of the fiscal year, meaning overall totals are still up about two percent.

June marks the fourth month for revenue from the new use tax. That’s also down slightly from last month which totaled $320,000 in June.
