Marjorie Belle Jordan, age 95, of Aurora, Missouri, passed away at 8:08 a.m. on Thursday, June 9, 2022, at her home. She was born April 19, 1927, in Wainwright, Oklahoma, the daughter of Troy and Ethel (Mullen) Mode.
Marjorie was a 1945 graduate of Wainwright High School, in Wainwright, Oklahoma. After graduating, she worked as a secretary and switch board operator for Juvenile Shoe in Aurora and then the Federal Land Bank in Aurora. She was a member of the Aurora Church of Christ.
On April 19, 1946, she married Glen Jordan in Los Angeles, California. He preceded her in death on March 7, 2017.
Marjorie is survived by her son, Larry Jordan and his wife, Jo, of Aurora; one daughter, Janice English, of Saldotna, Alaska; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, Troy and Ethel; her husband, Glen, and sister, Joy Evelyn.
A visitation will be held from 10:00–11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 13, 2022, at the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home, in Aurora, with a graveside service to follow at 11:30 a.m. at the Maple Park Cemetery in Aurora.
