Carole Ann Harding, age 85, Amelia Island, Florida, passed away peacefully at 12:21 a.m. Thursday, June 2, 2022, after a brief illness.
Mrs. Harding was born July 18th, 1936 in Carterville to the late Dr. P.M. Pence and Flora Dills Pence and had lived in the Joplin area until the last four years of her life.
She married Leon Robert Harding on December 29, 1957 in Joplin. He preceded her in death in 2009.
In addition to her parents and husband, Carole was preceded in death by her two brothers Burnace Pence and Robert Pence.
Those left to cherish her memory include two sons, Brad Harding (Elizabeth) Lee’s Summit, Missouri, Mike Harding (Nancy) Las Vegas, Nevada, daughter, Lisa LeMoine (David) Amelia Island, Florida; one sister, Sue Turner, Webb City; four grandchildren, Alexandra Barnhoorn, Natalie Keller, Madison LeMoine, and Evan LeMoine; and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 17, 2022 at 11:00 am at Parker Mortuary in Joplin with private family burial to follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Webb City. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Friday, June 17th beginning at 10:00 AM until service time.
Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin.
