Waters, Vasquez sign at Neosho High School

NEOSHO, Mo. – (WATCH) K’Dyn Waters (North Arkansas basketball) and Yeison Vasquez (Crowder soccer) sign Monday afternoon to continue their careers in college.

Waters was a 1st team All-COC selection and an All-State player for the Wildcats last winter.

“It’s a rush of emotions for sure, but definitely excitement,” Waters says, “This is what I’ve been playing basketball for since I was young…to finally get the chance to sign my name and play college basketball. My plan is to stay there for a year or two and then hopefully move on to play at a four-year school. My goal is just to get better.”

“I’m actually excited and a kind of nervous for a new journey, but I’m ready for it,” Vasquez says, “Even though I will be a freshman, I want to be able to start as well. That’s kind of my goal going into college.”

In addition to Waters and Vasquez signing to play sports in college, Neosho’s Eric Renner signed Monday to join the Oklahoma State marching band.
