PITTSBURG, Kan. — Some people in Kansas are traveling around our part of the state for the Big Kansas Road Trip.
It’s an annual event to highlight different counties in the state and everything they have to offer.
This year the spotlight is on Bourbon, Cherokee, and Crawford Counties.
A guidebook has been published to help explorers on their way.
The marked locations include the Historic Block House in Fort Scott and Pittsburg State University.
The road trip runs through May 8.
