Lonnie Baugh

Yolanda Jo (Lonnie) Baugh, age 91, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, passed away at 7:45 a.m. on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, in Monett, Missouri. She was born October 27, 1930, in Ravenna, Nebraska, the daughter of Frank and Franke (Campbell) Tracy. She was a graduate of Golden High School, in Golden, Colorado.

On December 18, 1949, she married Billy Gene Baugh in Golden, Colorado. He preceded her in death on November 14, 2002.

Lonnie was a homemaker and attended the First United Methodist Church in Mt. Vernon and the First United Methodist Church in Monett. She was an active volunteer in numerous organizations in the county. She was a longtime member of The Order of Eastern Star and had the opportunity to serve as Worthy Matron.

Lonnie is survived by three sons, Mark Baugh of Arlington, Washington, Andy Baugh and his wife, Janie, and William Baugh and his wife, Cathi, all of Mt. Vernon; daughter-in-law, Ellen Baugh of Vienna, Virginia; sister-in-law, Pat Tracy, of Mt. Vernon; thirteen grandchildren; Jonthon, Michael, Lindsay, Katherine, Landon, Laura, Brett, Kyle, Jacob, Andrew, Jessica, Jaired and Sarah and eight great-grandchildren.

Lonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Frank, and Franke Tracy; husband, Billy; son, Michael; daughter-in-law, Susie Baugh; brother, Larry Tracy, and sister, Margye Tucker.

A funeral service, under the direction of the Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home, in Mt. Vernon, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at the First United Methodist Church in Mt. Vernon. Burial will follow at the Williams Cemetery west of Mt. Vernon.
