WEIR, Kan. – The Mayor of Weir asks residents to conserve water after a water main break at Bone Creek.
Mayor Joe Tavernaro says the well has already been down due to a busted pump. Parts for that have already been ordered. So, the City has been using Bone Creek.
Now, that source is out, too. The City of Weir is down to using water from its water tower. Officials ask that residents conserve water.
Mayor Tavernaro hopes the water main to be fixed sometime tomorrow. The exact time is pending.
