PITTSBURG, Kan. – Pittsburg High School culinary students take on others from Sparta in a cooking competition today.

The event was hosted at PHS.

Each school had a 3-person team and made 3 dishes: an appetizer, an entree and dessert.

They had varying amounts of time to finish each dish and were judged on the average highest score.

It was close, but Sparta won the competition.
