Gary L. Cummings, 70, of Seneca, MO passed into eternal rest April 7, 2022 at Freeman Hospital Joplin, MO with his family at his side.
Gary Leon Cummings was born on September 5, 1951 in Anderson, MO the son of Henry Virgil Cummings and Desta Viola (Bennett) Cummings. He married Charlotte Ann Page on January 2, 1970 in Lanagan, MO. She survives.
Additional survivors include three sons; Gary Cummings and wife Rita, Cheyenne Cummings and wife Jennifer and Dusty Cummings and wife Ashley. Nine grandchildren; Miranda Derrick, Dalton Cummings, Ashton Compton, Makaylea Heckmaster, Hope Akins, Cecilia, Meeka, Liberty and Quinn Cummings. Five great-grandchildren; Kash and Kase Cummings, Addilyn and Daxton Derrick and Macy Heckmaster. One brother; Bill Cummings. Three sisters; Virgie Curtis, Geraldine Plummer and Carolyn Yocum and a host of extended family and friends.
Gary was proceeded in death by both his parents, two brothers; D. Edward Cummings and Donald Cummings and one sister; Doris Scribner.
Gary enjoyed coon hunting, trading on just about anything and fixing lawnmowers. He loved God and his family. Nothing here on earth made him happier than spending time with family and watching his grandchildren play.
A celebration of Gary’s life will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday April 16, 2022 at 9088 Antelope Road Seneca, MO with Virgil Sherwood officiating.
