An elite Kansas athlete heads to a national competition. Crystal Bridges gets ready to represent the state of Kansas in the Special Olympics USA Games. The games will take place in Orlando Florida from June 4th to June 12th. Crystal stopped by the KOAM studio to talk about the competition, her love of sports, and her drive to become a better athlete. She also talked about her love of friendship and family. Over 5000 athletes will make their way to the USA Games from across the nation and the Caribbean. The fact that Crystal will represent her state was an obvious and well-deserved source of pride for her.
