Ruby Fern Cummings died peacefully at home on April 6, 2022 surrounded by her family.

Born March 26, 1959 at home in Kansas City, MO to Frances Roberta Tiedeman and Melvin Taylor.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ray Cummings, father Melvin Taylor, brothers John & Mark, sisters Edith & Terra and great grandson Rhett Levi Hatfield.

She is survived by her mother and remaining 9 siblings, 17 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren and numerous other family and friends.

Ruby was a long haul truck driver most of her life. She was a beloved children’s’ Sunday School teacher and started Sewing to Sew Ministries with her mother, which donated over 10,000 quilts to local charities and ministries.
