WEBB CITY, Mo. — Services have been set for Ofc Michael Gayman of the Joplin Police Dept. Ofc Gayman died suddenly this past week.
After a career in law enforcement, Ofc Gayman retired in 2019 from the Joplin Police Dept. He returned immediately to serve in a different role as Joplin Police Officer at the Joplin Regional Airport.
Services… Monday, April 11th, at Christ’s Church of Oronogo, 22145 Kafir Rd., in Oronogo, Missouri.
Visitation… Funeral… Monday, April 11, 12:00 pm and funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00 pm. The general public is welcome to attend to honor and pay their respects to Ofc Gayman, his family, and friends.
Graveside… A private burial for family, close friends, and law enforcement will follow. Graveside services will be closed to the general public.
Funeral Procession… Will take place following services from Christ’s Church of Oronogo:
- D Highway south to Hawthorne Rd
- Hawthorne Rd west to Madison St
- Madison St south to Mt. Hope Rd
The public is welcome to line the route to honor and pay respects to Officer Gayman and his family.
