Rosetta L. Galindo

PITTSBURG, KS – Rosetta L. Galindo, 72, of Pittsburg left in flight for heaven, February 25, 2022 at Via Christi Village in Pittsburg. She was born July 18, 1949 in Pittsburg the daughter of Augustine and Mary Galindo. She had lived in Denver, Colorado, returning to Pittsburg to make her home. She was a graduate of Pittsburg High School.

She worked in data entry and office management for International Paper in Pittsburg and later for Joe Smith Tobacco Company, until her retirement.

She loved music and her guitar. Was an avid sports fan of football “Go Chiefs”, baseball, golf and softball. She enjoyed playing cards and board games with her cousins. Also was a nature lover and Spring was her favorite time of the year. She loved feeding the hummingbirds and enjoyed seeing deer, squirrels and the red foxes outside her patio window. She was a fun, loving person and will be missed by many.

Survivors include three sisters Debbie Jahay and her husband Stan of Arcadia, Becky Saker and her husband Kim of Frontenac and Tracy Galindo of Chicopee, two brothers Augie Galindo and his wife Candy of Burton, Texas and Arthur Edwards of Galesburg, KS. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside services will be 2 pm Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at Highland Park Cemetery, with the Rev. Daryl Gaddy, officiating. The family will receive their friends from 7 to 8 pm, Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home, 522 S. Broadway in Pittsburg, KS.
