Mary Sue Crawford, 75, of Blue Springs, MO passed away on Monday, February 21, 2022 at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, MO.  Sue was born February 16, 1947 in Nevada, MO to Maurice L. and Eula Grace (Skinner) Dahmer.

Mary attended the Milo Schools through the sixth grade and graduated from Nevada High School in 1965. She lived in Lee’s Summit for a number of years and has resided in Blue Springs, MO for the past 25 years. Sue worked at Yellow Freight in Overland Park, KS for thirteen years and various other jobs as an Administrative Assistant until her retirement to be a grandma. Sue enjoyed gardening, cooking, and most of all loved being mother, grandmother, and great grandmother

Survivors include three daughters, Kim Cornell (Tim), Harrisonville, MO, Laura Walters (Brandon), Odessa, MO, and Susan Leone (Nick), Blue Springs, MO; seven grandchildren, Jordan Cornell, Kelsey Cornell, Madison Walters, MacKenzie Walters, Derek Crawford, Riley Leone, and Ethan Leone; one great grandson, Theodore Burton; siblings, Maurice Lee Dahmer, Jr. (Bub), Nevada, Kay Wells, Grove, OK, Chuck Dahmer (Barbara), Nevada, and Pat Dahmer (Ruth), Littleton, CO; brother-in-law, Perry J. Morris, Nevada; numerous nieces and nephews.  Sue was preceded in death by her parents, an infant daughter, Lisa, sister, Dianne Morris, and her sister-in-law, Mirinda “Tin” Dahmer.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada with Rev. Sharon Freeman officiating. Friends may call now and until the hour of service at the funeral home.
