Yet ANOTHER winter storm system on the way in

Our next storm system will kick into gear after 10 o’clock Wednesday morning and continue through Wednesday afternoon. Due to enough cold air aloft and at the surface, most areas that will see the precipitation tomorrow will see it start off as snow. As some warmer air aloft works in, we’ll see a mix of sleet and snow kick in through the afternoon. While that batch of moisture clears out and leaves us with a few random snow showers and some spots of freezing drizzle for the evening and overnight, more moisture will bring moderate sleet and some freezing rain back in by 6 AM Thursday. Once we get into the afternoon, the departing system will end as light snow showers before we dry out Thursday night. We’ll continue to keep you updated.
