Dr. Ismael Aguilo Rodriguez MD, 67, Webb City, Missouri, passed away Saturday, February 19, 2022, at Mercy Hospital, Joplin, Missouri. Ismael was born on December 7, 1954, in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, the son of Ismael Aguilo Martinez and Rosa Julia Rodriguez Sepulveda. Ismael married Maria L. Rodriguez Irizarry on May 18, 1985. He graduated from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in San Juan, Puerto Rico in 1979. He then finished his residency in Internal Medicine at St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital in Ponce, Puerto Rico in 1982. He practiced medicine for 43 years. Dr. Aguilo practiced at Carthage Medical Clinic. Ismael enjoyed reading his bible and watching Puerto Rico television at home with his family.

Ismael is survived by his wife, Maria, Webb City, Missouri; two children, Dr. Lourdes X. Aguilo Rodriguez, MD, and Alexander A. Aguilo Rodriguez, both of Webb City, Missouri; and his mother, Rosa Rodriguez de Aguilo.
