Dolores May Cobb, 92, of Pittsburg, passed away at 5:08 p.m. Saturday, February 12, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born January 7, 1930 at Pittsburg. She was daughter of Morris and Thelma (Lucas) Neptune. She graduated from Pittsburg High School in 1948.

At age 16 she met the love of her life and on August 5, 1949, her and her soulmate Carl M. Cobb married at the First United Methodist Church in Pittsburg which they held membership.
Mrs. Cobb was a homemaker and also held odd jobs where ever her and Carl were.

In addition to her husband, Carl of the home, she is survived by two daughters, Laura Buckalew of Pittsburg and Cara Cobb of the home; she had 5 grandchildren Curtis Zollar (Cheyanne) of Lacyne, KS, Christopher Zollar (Sarah) of Eldora, IA, Eric Alcorn (Jennifer) of Parker, KS, Amber Longnecker (Aaron) of Conway, AR, Jimi Cobb (Anthane) of Frontenac, KS; she also had 9 great grandchildren; and a sister, Loretta Fox of Blue Springs, KS.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Debra Jean McCalister; a brother, Jerome Neptune; and a sister, Karen Sue Neptune.
