Victoria S. Marn peacefully passed away on January 8, 2022 at Arma Health & Rehab in Arma, Kansas.
Vicky was born on September 3, 1948 in Chicago, Illinois. She lived in Chicago and spent summers and holidays on the family farm at Fox Town and later moved to the farm from Chicago when she was 13 years old were she then attended school at the Cockrell School near the farm. In 1977 she met Robert “Bob” Thomas Stanley Marn and they married in 1979. Together they had a daughter, Victoria Marie. Bob passed away when Victoria was 8 months old. Bob brother, Thomas Marn, was great friend, support and assistance to Vicky in raising Victoria. He passed away in November 2015. Vicky worked as a caregiver and CAN and loved caring for people. She worked several years at SKIL ( Southeast Kansas Independent Living Resource Center) and Sunset Manor Nursing Home, and also worked at Medicalodges of Pittsburg and Arma Health & Rehab. When she came to work at SKIL she found an old friend from her teenage years, Henry Kosman, worked there too and they remained together as she lovingly referred to him as her “special friend” or “husband” until he passed away in June 2016.
Vicky is survived by her daughter Victoria M. Marn-Page and her fiancé Josh Moore. Vicky is also survived by and dearly loved being “Granny Grunt” to her 10 grandchildren: Dusty Walker, Dillon Page, Kolton Marn, Colin Page, Jaelynn Page, Taylor Inman, Teague Inman, Trace Inman, Xavier Marn, and Robert “Bobby” Thomas Marn. Vicky deeply loved her family, her friends, her life on the farm, her cats Boo and Molly, and her dog Charlotte.
