Barbara Lynn McHaffie of Fairland, Oklahoma passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, January 12, 2022. She was 67.

Mrs. McHaffie was born on September 21, 1954 in Springfield, Missouri to Jack Richardson and Betty (Lilly) Richardson. Barbara loved her church and was very passionate about her faith. She was an active member of the Church of Christ in Miami, Oklahoma. Barbara was very gifted. There wasn’t much that she couldn’t do. She loved working on arts and crafts. She would pick up a hobby until she felt that she succeeded at it, and then move on to her next adventure. Barbara loved her family more than anything and will be missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Betty Richardson.

Those left to share her memory are her husband Donald McHaffie, her son Uriah McHaffie and his wife Lisa, her daughters, Bethany Wilson and her husband Jarrett, and Kandi Marie Hilton. She is also survived by her sister Elaine McChurin. Barbara was also Grandmother to Hailee King, Lyndsie Corley, Josiah McHaffie, Wyatt McHaffie, Alexandra Friend, Drew Hilton, Abraham Hilton, Abbie Hilton, and Charlie Marie. She was also a Great-Grandmother to Naomi Wren, with more on the way.

Mrs. McHaffie’ wishes were to be cremated. Her family has placed cremation services in the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Fairland, Oklahoma.
