Robert Thomas Rion, age 61, of Miami, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022 at his home in Miami.
Robert was born January 15, 1960 to Bill Lee and Emma Mae (Scott) Rion, in Grants, New Mexico, where he grew up and attended high school. Throughout his life he worked in the oil industry.
Surviving Robert include 2 sons: Billy Rion and Bobby Rion; 2 daughters: Suzy Velasquez, and Cindy Rion; 1 brother Jim Rion (wife Denise); 1 sister-in-law Sharon Rion; and 3 grandchildren: Leilani, Amari, and Malaki.
He was preceded in death by his parents Bill and Emma Rion, and a brother, Bill Rion Jr.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, January 21, 2022 at Derfelt Funeral Home of Columbus, Kansas. Jim Rion will officiate. Burial will follow at Lone Elm Cemetery, Columbus, KS.
