Nancy Elizabeth Moore, age 84, a resident of Round Rock, Texas passed away at 7:42 pm, Friday, January 7, 2022 at Baxter Springs, KS following an illness.
Nancy was born January 9, 1937 in Norwood, CO to her parents Floyd Avis and Beryl Aloha (Moulten) Trone. While still in Norwood, Nancy met her husband of 56 years, Kenneth L Moore. They were married on January 23, 1955 in Nucla, CO and began their life together. Throughout her life Nancy was a loving wife, caring mother and grandmother, and one who had an infectious laugh that touched all who knew her. Nancy loved to garden, spend time with her family, and was a devoted follower of the Lord.
In 2007 Nancy and Kenneth moved to Texas until Kenneth’s passing in May of 2011 when Nancy returned to Colorado. In 2013 Nancy moved back to Texas where she was a resident for the remainder of the time the Lord gave her. Nancy was a member of Hill Country Bible Church in Pflugerville, TX where she remained an active member.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Darlene Lear, one brother, Davey Trone and two grandchildren, Calvin Moore and Shanna Moore.
Nancy’s surviving family includes one son, Martin Moore – Paonia, CO; four daughters, Cyndi Kinsch (Jim) – Baxter Springs, Dede Bullock – Round Rock, TX, Becki Chiles – Grand Junction, CO, and Lani Salazar – Craig, CO; one brother, Buddy Trone – Apache Junction, AZ; one sister, Wanda Montgomery (Joe) – Derry, NH; 17 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Nancy was entrusted to Derfelt Baxter Chapel for cremation. Services will be held upon her return home to Round Rock, Texas.
