Gary Lynn Poston, 54, a resident of Goodman, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at his residence.

Gary was born on January 27, 1967 in Gravette, Arkansas to Cecil and Dicie (Eslick) Poston.  He went to school in Jay, Oklahoma.  He loved to build model cars and was an avid reader all of his life.  He was employed at Missouri Sugar Refinery in Neosho, Missouri for 9 years.  Due to ill health Gary worked at Newell Industries, in Neosho, Missouri of the past 6 months.

Gary was a simple man and enjoyed solitude on his property in Goodman.

He was preceded in death by his mother Dicie and nephew Logan Poston.

Survivors include his father Cecil and step mother Delores of Tulsa, Oklahoma; sister, Susan Overstreet and husband Ben of Pineville, Missouri; his two nieces, Vanessa (Hassell) Morris and husband Josh of Pineville, Missouri and their three children and Jessica (Hassell) Jessen and husband Trenton of Pineville, Missouri and their two children; and nephew Thomas Poston and his three children of Edmond, Oklahoma.

He will be missed by his best friend Randy Puckett as well as a host of other friends and family.
