Allen Eugene Parker

Allen E. Parker, 74, of Mulberry, KS passed away on January 5, 2022 at Via Christi Village in Pittsburg, KS. Allen was born on January 26, 1947 in Pittsburg, KS, the son of Charles E. and Nina M. (Pryor) Parker. Allen loved being outdoors, he enjoyed hunting and fishing with his son Chuck and grandson, Levi. Allen enlisted in the United States Army directly after graduating from Pittsburg High School. Soon after, he married his high school sweetheart, Kella Woods, they later divorced. After receiving Honorable Discharge from the Army, he found work at McNally Foundry as a machinist and later served as a shop foreman. Allen retired from McNally’s and found a new career in Law Enforcement in Mulberry, KS and was united in marriage to his wife Corrine Goodwin. Survivors include his wife; one son, Charles “Chuck” (Kimberly) Parker; daughters, Kimberly (Michael) Heckert, Ashley (Joe) Amayo; one brother, Bill (Tammy) Parker; one sister, Betty (Dennis) Jameson. Allen had twelve grandchildren: Austin Parker, Hunter Parker, Levi (Emma) Lehman, Shelby (Morgan) Johnson, Blaze (Deaven) Heckert, Michael Heckert, Shyanne Heckert, Michael (Clarissa) Parker, Blaine Stephenson, Brandon Stephenson, Kimberly Engledow, Logan Aikins, and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Kella Parker; daughter, Mandy Stephenson; son, Charles Dickerson; a brother, Ronnie Parker.
A private funeral service will be held on January 8, 2022 at 9:00 A.M. at Bath-Naylor Funeral Home & Crematory in Pittsburg, KS with Rev. Jeff Rose officiating. A graveside service will follow at The Garden of Memories in Pittsburg, KS at 10:00 A.M., family and friends are welcome to attend. Condolences may be left at www.bathnaylor.com.
