Judith was born January 1, 1942 in Miami, OK to Booth and Alice Marie (Crawfish) Tuthill. She had lived in Albuquerque for the past 60 years moving from Quapaw, OK. Judith received her Master’s Degree from the University of New Mexico and was a contracting specialist for the Bureau of Indian Affairs in Albuquerque, NM retiring in 2017. She was a member of the First Church of Nazarene of Albuquerque and a member of First Native American Church.
Judith was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Booth Tuthill, Jr. and Thomas Tuthill and 1 sister, Nancy Tuthill.
Survivors include 1 son, Michael Bodo and wife Christine of Albuquerque, NM, 1 daughter, Cynthia Harkins and husband Dakota of Albuquerque, NM, 1 brother, Harry Tuthill of Washington, 1 sister, Mary Jane Grant of Quapaw, OK, 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 8, 2022 at the Quapaw Tribal Building, east of Quapaw, OK. Everett Bandy will conduct Native American Rites. Interment will be in Quapaw Tribal Cemetery, Quapaw, OK. Michael Bodo, Alex Abeyta, Dakota Harkins, Jon D. Whitecrow, JL Whitecrow, David Tuthill and Ted Tate will serve as pallbearers. Judith will lie in state at the Quapaw Tribal Building. Services have been placed in the care of the Paul Thomas Funeral Home and cremation Service of Miami, OK.
