PITTSBURG, Kan. – Crawford County Judge Jennifer Brunetti sentences Austin Fenimore for burglarizing Horton’s Pizza Plus.
Judge Brunetti gave 27-year-old Fenimore 6 months of probation.
Authorities originally charged Fenimore with Burglary, Criminal Property Damage, and Theft of Property. However, he took a plea deal in October of 2021, according to court documents.
Horton’s Pizza Plus Burglary
On Monday, Dec. 7, 2020, around 6:00 a.m., Pittsburg Police officers responded to Horton’s Pizza Plus (1601 E. 4th Street) for a reported burglary.
An employee alerted the police after arriving at work, noticing signs of a break-in. Police arrived and determined the burglar broke in by smashing through the glass with a brick.
Hours after the crime was discovered, authorities developed a lead that resulted in the arrest of 26-year-old Austin Wayne Fenimore. Police took him to the Crawford County Jail and booked him on a $5,000 bond.
The Prosecutor’s Office then charged him with burglary, criminal damage to property and theft of property.
