Curt Yardley, 56, of Parsons, passed away at 7:51 p.m., Friday, December 31, 2021, at Labette Health ER.
Justin Curt Yardley was born on February 18, 1965, to Roy Yardley, Jr. and Evelyn (Leeper) Yardley in Garden City, Kansas. As a young boy, he grew up and attended school in Garden City.
For the last 30 years, Curt has lived in Parsons and worked in the railroad shop in Parsons. He enjoyed playing his guitar and working on vehicles, especially his truck.

One daughter – Jenna Yardley of Oswego, Kansas
Three step-sons – Joshua Garoutte of Coffeyville, Kansas
Jeremiah Garoutte and his wife, Ashley, of Coffeyville, Kansas
Larry Garoutte of Parsons, Kansas
One step-daughter – Jessica Gorham and her husband, Travis, of Coffeyville, Kansas
Six grandchildren and two on the way
His mother – Evelyn Yardley of Garden City, Kansas
Three brothers – Darwin Yardley and his wife, Ronnie, of Locust Grove, Oklahoma
Troy Yardley of Wichita, Kansas
Brian Todd Yardley of Hugoton, Kansas
Two sisters – Robin Mills of Cherryvale, Kansas
Valerie Otzuka and her husband, Marty, of Garden City, Kansas
Many nieces, nephews and cousins
He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Yardley, Jr.; and two sisters, Jacque Harrison and Traci Harrison.
A memorial service will be announced at a later day. Cremation is under the direction of Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home of Parsons.
