Jessie Renee Beaty

Jessie Beaty, 40, of Jay, Oklahoma, departed this life on Saturday, January 1, 2022 at her residence with her loving family by her side.

She entered this life on January 10, 1981 in Joplin, Missouri born to Doug and Annette (Weiny) Moffett. Jessie attended McDonald County schools her entire academic career and was a standout athlete. She graduated from McDonald County High School in 2000. Jessie went on to play basketball for Crowder College as a Lady Roughrider.  She was united in marriage on May 23, 2003 in Miami, Oklahoma to Gary Beaty and to this union two children were born.  Jessie was the kitchen manager for OPAA Foods in the Jay School District. She attended the Mt. Hermon Church in Jay, Oklahoma. Jessie was an amazing person and had the sweetest soul you would ever meet. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt, friend and a mother figure to most of the children in the community. She touched so many people through working at the school and being a dedicated sports mom to her children and others. Jessie was there to patch skinned elbows and knees, to always cheering the kids on. She was a great friend to all that crossed her path, would do anything for anyone in need. Jessie will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.

She was preceded in death by, JR Denny, Alesha Beaty, Laramie Moffett, Rob Bloem, Uncle Mark Weiny.

Jessie is survived by her husband, Gary Beaty; children, Marlee Beaty and Cooper Beaty; parents, Doug and Annette Moffett; father and mother-in-law, Gary Dale Beaty and Julie Kay Denny; grandparents, Harold and Beverly Weiny; siblings, Jeramie Moffett, Jamie Medlin (Justin), Jodi Blake (Brent), Julie Denny (the late JR), Justin Moffett (Whitney), Josh Moffett (Caite), J.D. Moffett (Kimberly, Jared Moffett (Jamie) and Jordan Moffett (Nichole); numerous nieces and nephews and a mother to all of them; along with a host of other family and friends who will dearly miss Jessie.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 7, 2022 in the Southwest City Cemetery in Southwest City, Missouri, with Pastor JR Morgan officiating.  The family will receive friends on Thursday evening, January 6, 2022, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in the Southwest City Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes.
