US Marshals issue federal warrant for Grove woman

GROVE, Okla. – U.S. Marshals are looking for fugitive Heather Griffith of Grove, Oklahoma.

Authorities issued a federal probation warrant for the 27-year-old’s arrest.

In November 2021, Griffith pleaded guilty related to an assault with a deadly weapon case.

According to the authorities, Griffith was last known to be in the Grove area.

The 2020 Crime

On March 15, 2020, authorities arrested two suspects in connection to a stabbing at Honey Creek Motel in Grove. Police took Heather Louise Griffith and another woman into custody the next day.

According to court documents, Delaware County Prosecutors charged Griffith with Witness Intimidation. Investigators determined the motive of the assault was a witness’ testimony in a Delaware County murder trial.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI), Grove Police Department and Delaware County Sheriff’s Office were all involved in the investigation.
