Anna Louise Bohannan Wonser, age 78 of Arkansas City, passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at the Pleasant Valley Nursing Home in Sedan.
Anna was born on December 27, 1943 in rural Cowley County, the daughter of Rollin and Golda Bohannan. She was raised and educated in Grenola and graduated Grenola High School in 1964. Anna was married to Lee Wonser and three daughters were born to this marriage. The couple later divorced.
Anna enjoyed sewing, quilting, making pies and most of all her children and grandchildren. She was a hard worker on the farm growing up and various other employments throughout her lifetime including Rubbermaid and co-operating A&W Welding.
She is survived by her children:

She is also survived by 7 grandchildren: Amanda Briele, Zach Peel, Adam Stone, Tyler Kill, Josh Stone, Anna Kill, and Tiffany Jennings; 11 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren, as well as many other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her partner of 39 years, Clark Conley; her parents, Rollin Bohannan and Golda (Moore) Bohannan; her sister, Kathy Kirchner and her brother, Mike Bohannan.
Family will receive friends at visitation on Sunday, January 2, 2022 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at Countryside Funeral Home in Howard.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, January 3, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Countryside Funeral Home in Howard.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made to the Chautauqua County 4-H and can be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
