JOPLIN, Mo. – Some sad news now over in Joplin, police K9 Belgon has passed away.
Belgon retired in 2018 and has been enjoying his retirement home with his handler, Officer Adam Brannin. According to the department’s Facebook page, Belgon’s health declined rapidly last night and Officer Brannin had to make the difficult decision to have him put to rest.
