Aurora man dies after incident on private property

AURORA, Mo. – Late yesterday evening, the Aurora and Marionville Police Department was called to an address on East Highland in Aurora near the airport.

There, they found a 34-year-old man with severe injuries and what appeared to be extreme frostbite. He was found near a tree stand on the property, which was owned by his family.

He was taken to Mercy Hospital where he later died from his injuries a few hours later. Officials say while his death remains under investigation, no foul play is suspected at this time. No other details, including the victims name, were released.
