Larry Ray Allen, age 62, of Republic, Missouri, passed away at 3:54 a.m. on Sunday, October 31, 2021, at his home. He was born October 12, 1959, in Tracy, California, the son of the late J.B. and Grace Ann (Alred) Allen.
Larry worked for Republic Services as a Sanitation Engineer.
On July 15, 2000, he married Dawn Michelle Stewart in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.
Larry is survived by his wife of 21 years, Dawn; four daughters, Honesty Lapierre and her husband, Joshua, of Tunas, Missouri, Scarlett Allen of Republic, Missouri and Tracy Gosnell and Anna Martinez, both of Wichita, Kansas; two sons, Dustin Allen and Bradley Allen and his wife, Melanie, all of Springfield, Missouri; five grandchildren, Simon and Patrick Lapierre, Miranda Gosnell and Zoe and Zayne Allen; two sisters, Linda Beeson of Springfield, Missouri and Kathy Helms of Osceola, Missouri; two brothers, Johnny Allen and his wife, Karen, of Miller, Missouri and Jerry Allen and his wife, Terry, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri and several nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 12:00-2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 4, 2021, at the Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon. Burial will be held at the Lee Cemetery, northeast of Verona, Missouri.
