Anna G. Venneman Schoenhofer, 94, of St. Paul, passed away at 3:40 a.m., Saturday, October 30, 2021, at Prairie Mission Retirement Village in St. Paul.
Anna Grace Baldwin was born on May 10, 1927, to Harry D. and Zella (Fought) Baldwin in Galesburg, Kansas. As a young girl, she grew up and attended school in Galesburg, graduating from Galesburg High School in 1944. Following high school, she earned an Associate’s degree from Chillicothe Business College.
On August 9, 1948, Anna and Alban F. Venneman were united in marriage at St. Francis Catholic Church. She devoted the next 29 years to being a homemaker. After Alban passed away on August 6, 1977, Anna began working at Locke Abstract in Erie as an abstractor. She retired in 1998.
Anna was an active member of St. Francis Catholic Church and its Altar Society. She was also a member of the local Red Hat Society. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family. She also enjoyed quilting, flowers, hummingbirds and occasionally going to the casino.
On June 19, 2004, Anna married Gerald L. Schoenhofer at St. Francis Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on July 18, 2014.

Mark (Trish) Venneman of Walnut, Kansas
Mike (Ron) Venneman of Kansas City, Missouri
Five step-children – Deborah (Elbert) Refern of Arma, Kansas; Alice (Damian) Coomes of St. Paul, Kansas; Glen (Tina) Schoenhofer of Erie, Kansas; Mike (Cindy) Schoenhofer of Erie, Kansas; and Pat Schoenhofer of Harrison, Arkansas

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alban F. Venneman on August 6, 1977; her husband, Gerald L. Schoenhofer, on June 19, 2004; one infant daughter, Karen Venneman in January 1956; four brothers, Riley Baldwin, Ralph Baldwin, Roy Baldwin, and Harvey Baldwin; five sisters, Ruth Arseneault, Ruby Wilcox, Opal St. Clair, Ada Lee Landreau, and Alma Oberly
The funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at St. Francis Catholic Church in St. Paul. Burial will follow at the St. Francis Cemetery in St. Paul. The family will pray the rosary at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons. The parish rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home. The family will receive friends following the parish rosary.
