Keith Sherman Siler of Miami, OK passed from this life Sunday, September 19, 2021 at his home after battling a long illness with his wife Karen by his side. He was 63.
Keith was born July 4, 1958 in Miami, OK to Sherman Leon and Virginia Bell (Lee) Siler. He had lived in Miami most of his life. Keith graduated from Miami High School Class of 1976. He retired from the City of Miami after 21 years of service in 2019 due to health issues.
Keith was an avid OU Sooners fan. He spent his last day on earth surrounded by family watching his beloved Sooners.
Keith was preceded in death by his parents Sherman and Virgina and one brother Vernon Siler.
He is survived by his wife Karen of 24 years of the home, two children, Felicia Brite and husband Robert of Seneca, MO and Josh Siler and wife Malorie of Miami, OK, three step-children, Jeremy Stovall and wife Shelly of Wyandotte, OK, Zach Stovall and wife Rhiannan of Commerce, OK and Amanda Stovall and wife Amanda of Webb City, MO, one brother, Kenneth Siler of Tulsa, OK and one sister, Sharon Farris and husband Brent of Joplin, MO, 13 grandchildren whom he loved dearly , numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 24, 2021 at Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel, Miami, OK. with Rev. Geoff Buffalo officiating. Interment will be at G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami, OK. Bryan Siler, Marshall Siler, Robert Olson, Brent Farris, Kristy Mannis , Tommy Thulin and Cody Jones will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday evening at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel . Services have been placed in care of Paul Thomas Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Miami, OK.
