JOPLIN, Mo. — Freeman Health System is celebrating “Neonatal Nurses Week” by unveiling a new program.
Freeman’s NICU is creating a breast milk donation program.
Children in the NICU might not have access to their mother’s breast milk, so this program helps to provide the same nutrients necessary for the baby’s development.
