Sandra Lee Burns of Miami, OK passed from this life Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Global Higher Call Nursing Center in Quapaw, OK. She was 75.
Sandra was born August 18, 1946 to James “Jim” and Betty (Gilmore) Murray. She had lived in Picher and Miami most of HER life, except for 10 years she lived in Idaho. She graduated from Picher-Cardin High School Class of 1964. She was a homemaker.
Sandra was preceded in death by a daughter Susan Johnson Burns, her parents, 1 brother, Richard Murray and 3 sisters, Brenda Roberts, Gladys Cooper and Terry Moore.
Survivors include her husband Danny Brittle of the home, 2 sons, Tom Burns and wife Jackie of Miami, OK and Danny Brittle, Jr. and wife Amanda of Miami, OK, 2 daughters, Theresa Marie Casals of San Antonio, TX and Nancy Marie Wilson and husband Jerry of Purcell, MO, 2 brothers, Jim Murray of Idaho and Mark Murray of Fairland, OK, 1 sister, Melba Creech and husband Tim of Webb City, MO, 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Pence Cemetery, east of Baxter Springs, KS. Rev. Kay Snowden will officiate. Mike Hopkins, John Carr, Terry Harper, Doug Creech and Lloyd Johnson will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, OK.
