NEOSHO, Mo. – Crowder College’s nursing program hosted a showcase Tuesday. It was aimed at showing prospective and pre-nursing students what they’ll be learning.
“(It’s a) short day to give you enough to get excited about nursing,” said Kristi Chatman of Crowder of College. “Hopefully today students leave feeling like ‘yes, nursing is where I want to be,’ or some ‘ok, this gave me just enough to understand maybe I want to go a different track.”
The future nurses saw a simulation lab and learned about being a nurse during a pandemic.
