Sylvester Bradley Moore, age 85, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, died peacefully on Sunday, August 1, 2021, at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. He was born July 18,1936, in Lilbourn, Missouri, the son of Paul and Ersie Moore.
Sylvester is survived by his two sons, Joe (Leanna) Moore of Wylie, Texas, and Terry (Cindy) Moore of Mt. Vernon; his sister, Loretta Moore of Mt. Vernon; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
Sylvester was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Ersie; wife, Elizabeth Ann and two sisters, Maudie Erline and Sharon Lee Moore.
A visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 4, 2021, at the Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon with a graveside service to follow at 2:30 p.m. at the Mt. Vernon IOOF Cemetery.
