Ronnie Joe Perriman, age 65, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, passed away at 12:59 p.m. on Friday, July 30, 2021, at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. He was born July 5, 1956, in Springfield, Missouri, the son of Homer Lee and Gladys Maryalice (Hood) Perriman.
Ronnie was a 1974 graduate of Mt. Vernon High School. He was a mechanic for Jamie Stockton with Tom’s Auto in Mt. Vernon, and he loved to do woodworking.
On August 11, 1978, he married Michele Diane (Mitzi) Ford, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Ronnie is survived by his wife, of 42 years, Mitzi; three sons, Steve Perriman and his wife, Nicky, of Stotts City, Missouri, Michael Perriman, of Republic, Missouri, and Keith Perriman; four grandchildren, Ezekial, Jade, Jaden, and Katana Perriman; one brother, Rick Perriman and his wife, Laurie, of San Antonio, Texas; two sisters, Linda Oberdean, of Blue Springs, Missouri and Connie Hazard and her husband, Jeff, of Nixa, Missouri.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Gladys; son, Jeremy Perriman; grandson, Grabriel Perriman and two brothers, Jim and Steve Perriman.
A graveside service, under the direction of the Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home, in Mt. Vernon, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 7, 2021, at the Mt. Vernon IOOF Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects at the funeral home from 9:00-5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 6, 2021.
Memorial donations may be made payable to the family, in care of the funeral home, to help with funeral expenses.
