Alvin Joel Andrews, age 89, of Aurora, Missouri, passed away on Monday, July 12, 2021, at the Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri. He was born April 20, 1932, in Prescott, Arizona, the son of John and Gladys (Coursey) Andrews.
Alvin served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Era and was a master Mechanic for the Claremont Service Center in Claremont, California. He loved fishing and gardening and attended the Aurora Baptist Temple.
Alvin is survived by two daughters, Laura Baron of Anacortes, Washington and Wanda Alison and her husband, Frank, of Santee, California; five grandchildren;14 great-grandchildren.
Alvin was preceded in death by his parents, John, and Gladys; his long-time friend and companion, Addelin Evans; one son, Jim Andrews; one grandchild; four sisters and two brothers.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora, Missouri.
