OKLAHOMA CITY — Some Oklahoma Democrats in the House of Representatives want the governor to reinstate an emergency declaration. This, as COVID-19 cases rise in the state.
George Monks, Dr. George Monks, a former president of the Oklahoma State Medical Association, expressed why an emergency order was needed on social media.
Personal responsibility can’t expand hospital capacity, hire back health care workers, and increase testing capabilities. That’s why we need an Oklahoma State Health Emergency declaration in order to have a cohesive and coordinated Statewide response to Covid and save lives. https://t.co/SaQzDKUdtg
