Geraldine “Jerry” Ann Herd of Commerce, OK passed from this life Saturday, July 17, 2021 at her home. She was 80.
Jerry was born September 23, 1940 in Picher, OK to Dorman and Melba (Casteel) Turley. She had lived in Picher and Commerce all her life and graduated from Picher-Cardin High School class of 1958. Jerry was a homemaker and a member of Christian Faith Outreach in Commerce, OK.
Jerry was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Herd, February 18, 2004, her parents and one sister Penny Mercer.
Survivors include 3 daughters, Rhonda Alsbury and late husband Gary Alsbury, Jr. of Miami, OK, Robyn Mishler and husband Gary of Afton, OK and Lisa Williams and husband Donnie of Commerce, OK , 1 brother, Doug Turley of Afton, OK, 1 sister, Gloria Alsbury of Quapaw, OK, 9 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at Commerce First Assembly of God Church in Commerce, OK. Rev. Donnie Williams will officiate. Interment will follow in G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami, OK. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers and Great-grandsons will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening at Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, OK.
