Bobbie Joe Ellis age 86. Passed from this life on July 16, 2021 at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.
Bobbie was born on November 16, 1934 to Earl and Kate (Daugherty) Ellis. He worked at Eagle-Picher for 40 plus years after serving his country in the US Army.
He is survived by his wife Betty, children Kathy Ginger and Joe Ellis. Two siblings Louine Gardner and Earl (Tucker) Ellis. Grandchildren Jason and Rusty. Five great grandchildren Kade, Hagen, Barrett, D’Laney and Logan. He was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Baxter Springs, Kansas
He is preceded in death by one brother Jim, daughter Brenda Carson, his parents Earl and Kate and his first wife Bonnie.
A Funeral Mass will take place at 10:00am Thursday July 22, 2021 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. A Rosary will be held 7:00pm Wednesday at Derfelt’s Baxter Chapel in Baxter Springs, Kansas.
