Jasper County Sheriff’s office searching for 2 suspects in Airport Drive shooting

AIRPORT DRIVE, Mo. – The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that left two people injured.

It happened Thursday afternoon in the Harps parking lot.

Authorities say they received reports of shots fired around 1:35 pm.

During the investigation, authorities say they found evidence of a shooting including evidence of “possible injuries.”

Later, authorities identified two victims, a 22-year-old Webb City woman, and a 33-year-old California man. They’re in the hospital with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.

Authorities released a description of the suspects, the first was the driver described as a black male with dreadlocks, the passenger was a black male with four braids in his hair and neck tattoos.

The sheriff’s office says they were driving a dark red Kia SUV 4 door, possibly a Sorrento.
