Ruby Henry

Ruby Adeline Henry, 92 years, of Grove, Oklahoma, passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at her residence with her loving family by her side.

She was born on February 17, 1929 in Decatur, Arkansas, to the late Lester and Stella (Wilkins) Austin. She was nurse and worked at the Gravette Hospital in Gravette, Arkansas. She was also a licensed cosmetologist and gave haircuts and permanents when she lived in Maysville, Arkansas. Ruby enjoyed dancing and riding motorcycles. She loved playing the piano, bridge and dominoes. Ruby was a member of the Grove First Baptist Church in Grove, Oklahoma.

Ruby was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Randy and Dan Keith; siblings, Jack Austin, Glen Austin, Evelyn Shields and Odessa Wilmoth.

She is survived by her husband, Ray Henry of the home; a son, James Keith and wife, Shoshana of Jay, Oklahoma; brothers, Lester Austin of Decatur, Arkansas and Paul Austin of Belton, Missouri; two grandchildren, James Keith and Haleigh Keith; as well as a host of other family and friends who will dearly miss Ruby.

A memorial service for family and friends will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, July 5, 2021 at the Grove First Baptist Church in Grove, Oklahoma. Burial will be held at a later date in the Maysville Cemetery in Maysville, Arkansas.
