Marjorie L. “Marge” Little

Marjorie L. “Marge” Little, 81, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away at 12:00 noon, Friday, June 25, 2021 at St. Luke’s South Hospital in Overland Park.

Marge was born June 16, 1940 in Walnut, Kansas, the daughter of Raymond Little and Elsie (Beech) Little. She grew up there and attended school, graduating from St. Patrick Catholic High School at Walnut in 1958. Marge then attended Sacred Heart College in Wichita, Kansas. She served a two year internship in histology at the St. Francis Medical Center in Wichita. In 1961, she moved to the Kansas City area where she worked at the Shawnee Mission Medical Center for several years. Marjorie enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her friends.

She was a member of the Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Overland Park, Kansas and was active in St. Catherine’s Circle there.

Nadine Popp – St. Joseph, Missouri

One Brother: Joseph R. “Pete” Little – Walnut, Kansas

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Alice Standfast and a brother, Gene Little.

The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, July 1, 2021at the Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 7023 W. 71st Street, Overland Park, Kansas. The Rosary will be prayed at the church prior to the funeral mass at 9:30 a.m. Visitation will follow the Rosary until the service. The Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home of Parsons, Kansas is in charge of arrangements.

The graveside committal service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, at the St. Patrick Cemetery at Walnut, Kansas. Memorial contributions are suggested to the St. Patrick Cemetery Fund and these may be mailed to the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home, PO Box 374, Parsons, Kansas 67357.
