Bobbi Gail (Hymer) Fahrig, age 66, passed from this life on June 18, 2021 at Freeman Medical Center.
Bobbi was born in Stella, Missouri on December 2, 1954. She was the beloved daughter of the late Bobby Lee Hymer and Veva Nadine (Drake) Hymer. She graduated from Joplin’s Parkwood High School as a part of the class of 1972. Bobbi spent her entire working career in credit and collections, including longtime employment with Sears, Empire District Electric, and finishing as a vice president with Southwest Missouri Bank. She loved animals, particularly horses and dogs. She shared an interest in classic autos with her dad. Bobbi enjoyed travel, bowling, James Taylor’s music, and the company of friends and family.
She married Tom Fahrig June 20, 1987; he survives at their home. She also leaves a son, Scott Fahrig, of Nashville, Tennessee. Additional survivors include a brother, Michael Hymer of Fresno, California, and three step- children, Rachel Fahrig, Christian Fahrig, and Landon Fahrig.
