Ms. Dorothy Ann Davidson, 85 of Galena, KS formally of Decatur, AR departed this life on Friday, June 4, 2021 at the Galena Nursing Center in Galena, KS.
Dorothy was born February 4, 1936 in Stillwater, OK to the late Joseph F. and Ruby Alice (Lake) Harrington. In 1979 Dorothy attended Crowder College receiving a degree as a nurse, LPN and worked at the Gravette Medical Center Hospital until her retirement. She served as a den mother for the cub scouts worked as a “Koolaid Lady” for VBS for several years and helped with local blood pressure clinics. Dorothy was a member of the Noel Baptist Church and enjoyed going to senior dances, growing flowers, fishing and hunting.
Dorothy was preceded in death by two sons; William Curtis Davidson and Louis Edward Davidson.
Dorothy is survived by two sons; George Raymond Davidson of Neosho, MO, and Joseph Michael Davidson of Joplin, MO. A daughter; Marla K. Arcadi of Fort Collins, CO. a granddaughter Anna Davidson of Caldwell, ID and a grandson; C.B. Davidson of Coraopolis, PA as well as a host of other family and friends.
Graveside services for Ms. Dorothy Ann Davidson will be held Tuesday June 8th, 2021 at 12 Noon at the Noel Cemetery in Noel, Missouri with Pastor Leo Lenze officiating. A visitation will be held the day of the funeral at the Ozark Funeral Home in Noel, Missouri from 9 until 11:30 a.m. On-line condolences may be sent to the family through our website, www.ozarkfuneralhome.com.
